100 word challenge. Twisted and Turned.

I was a lamp post.

I've done a lot of things in my life, I've illuminated a drug deal for the cops.

I've seen death happen under me.

I've seen my way through storms.

But one day the war started and in an effort to support the effort I was melted down and melded with other metal to create the gun.

It made me sad, I could no longer see where I began and where I ended and eventually I was melted down again to create a weapon of pure destruction and now I fall toward one last deed.
